INSTALLIG TMG FIREWALL

Description

We´ll show how to setup a TMG as a firewall and gateway.

Pre-requisites

· Ms windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Server DVD iso or a VM (with sysprep, options generalize and OOBE)

· Ms ISA TMG DVD iso

· Internet access (we have here an isolated environment for this lab running on hyper-v 2.0)

Installation (steps)

From a prepared image (we used sysprep) on its vhd file

Set up nics (external and internal)

Run splash (auto run)

Start at “run windows update”

INSTALLING A DELL R710 SERVER

Here we´re show how to set up a DELL R710 Server with MS Windows 2008 R2 SP1 for a hyper-v cluster or whatever you want.

Pre-requisites

· Downloadd dvd http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/555?c=us&l=en&s=biz&~ck=mn (choose R710 and your OS version)

Debugging Applications Permissions on IIS server

Description

On this article we´re simulate an application running on IIS where the users are getting errors on uploading files.

Pre-requisites

IIS server – local or domain integrated with support to ASP (active server pages)

ASP file upload project to simulate its proposal http://www.motobit.com/dlldownload/ScptUtl/ScptUtl-eval-2-3-1-x64.exe

Installation (steps)

Install the windows 2003 X64 server

Install the Application Server through Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components

Enable Active Server Pages at World Wide Web Service and then press OK

Go to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\ and create a paste for the root of you web site (c:\inetpub\wwwroot\siteroot\) after it create the uploads folder into its root folder

Install the ASP file upload by clicking at c:\temp\ ScptUtl-eval-2-3-1-x64

Create the simple asp file at c:\inetpub\wwwroot\siteroot\
